Dissociation

At times, the world fades without warning.
I only realise after the fact - when things return. People reappear. The world becomes more than the road in front on me.

Other times the disconnection is deliberate - the world and feelings become too much.

Movement becomes escape - running, walking, repetition to give some sense of control

This work explores this through the seperation of form: roots pulled from the heart, displaced, yet still connected
